This solar initiative is the second wave of SunPower® solar canopy mounted construction projects Wiseman Commercial has installed in Solano County. The first solar system was constructed a year ago at Green Valley Executive Center located at 5030 Business Center Drive in Fairfield and is offsetting more than 90% of electricity previously used from the grid.
The lower carbon footprint of these four new projects has an equivalent offset of greenhouse gas emissions from over 1.2 million miles driven by average passenger vehicles and carbon sequestered from 583 acres of U.S. forests in one year.
