Rapid Expansion of Agriculture Technology Tenant Continues to Impress The Greater Sacramento Region with its Recent 4,300 SF Expansion
FAIRFIELD, CA- January 3, 2022. In April, 2021, Wiseman Commercial’s Woodland Corporate Center unveiled the most advanced technology incubator for agricultural products in California’s Central Valley, located at 1100 Main Street in Woodland, California. Developed for the AgTech Innovation Alliance, a non-profit incubator for agriculture, food, and health innovations, this brand-new facility has quickly become a thriving epicenter for agriculture technology. The specific program operating in the space is called AgStart.
The location offers its agricultural technology start-up and early-stage clients access to a wet lab, certified commercial food lab, and numerous private and shared office spaces. This immediate access to world-class equipment and a collaborative center has accelerated the concept-to-commercialization process while creating a dynamic, highly-desirable work environment for its users.
Beginning with a nearly 5,000 square foot lab, AgStart has now since increased its size to over 9,000 square feet with intentions to accommodate high client demand by leasing more of Woodland Corporate Center’s office spaces in the future. This rapid expansion is due in part to AgStart’s membership with UC Davis (DRIVE™) Network, which provides university-associated innovators and startups facilitated access to a network of business incubators.
